Airport spa

An airport spa is a day spa that is located within the terminal of an airport, offering services such as massages and facials.

Typical services

*facials — facial cleansing with a variety of products
*massage
*waxing — the removal of body hair with hot wax
*body treatments such as body wraps, aromatherapy, salt scrubs, etc.
*skin exfoliation — including chemical peels and microdermabrasion

A full service airport spa is one that also includes services for hair and nails.

The very first airport spa was created on November 17, 2000 at Newark Liberty International airport Terminal C located in the U.S. state of Newark, New Jersey. This concept was pioneered by Gina Stern, President of d_parture spa.
