History

ClarkMorgan was founded by Australian, Morry Morgan (born Andrew Christopher Morgan) and Brit, Andy Clark (born Andrew John Clark) in 2001.[1] The company began operations as a Business English training company and then expanded into soft skill training in 2005. In 2006 the company began publishing 'Network HR' magazine. In 2008 ClarkMorgan created the 'Premier Events' business unit. The first Thought Leader invited was Michael Hewitt-Gleeson who presented his 'x10 Thinking' concept, first taught to General Electric as GEx10. On March 28, 2009, ClarkMorgan created Spark09 at the Shanghai World Financial Center which aimed to raise money for local charities, while creating an environment for idea and solution solving. The charities involved were Hands on Shanghai, LifeLine Shanghai, and 51Give. Spark09 grew to include Hong Kong and Beijing, as well as feature as a regular web TV channel on iTV-Asia. In 2010, former Northern Regional Sales Manager, Jeff Lunz, replaced Morry Morgan, as General Manager. Morgan continues to work for ClarkMorgan focusing on sales and marketing, after publishing his book, 'Selling Big to China - Negotiating Skills for the World's Largest Market', by John Wiley & Sons.
