Iron horse (celtic)

Iron Horse is a Celtic music band started in 1990 and retired in 2001. For the Bluegrass band also called Iron Horse see this article: Iron Horse (band)


They became known when they created the music for the BBC TV documentary series, "The Gamekeeper" (1995). They write and perform powerful Scottish folk music, imaginatively interpreted & covering a broad spectrum, from slow airs & ballads to driving instrumentals. Each album is superb, with Five Hands High being probalby their best work, culminating with that extraordinary piece, Step Waltz.
