Lezayre in theIsle of Man . It is situated between the 23rd and 24th milestone road marker for the Mountain Course on the A3 Lezayre Road in the town of Ramsey used for theIsle of Man TT andManx Grand Prix Races.The corner was part of the
Four Inch Course used for theGordon Bennett Trial and Tourist Trophy automobile car races held in the Isle of Man between 1905 and 1911. Also School House Corner was part of the Snaefell Mountain Course used since 1911 for the Isle of Man TT Races and Manx Grand Prix. The name derives from the near-by Ramsey Grammar School and was formerly known as "Russell's Corner" after Benjy Russell ["Mona's Herald" pp5 dated 16th September 1947] crashed during the Lightweight Race for the1949 Manx Grand Prix and was killed.
