Eck attended
Crespi Carmelite High School inEncino, California .College career
At UCLA Eck was offensive lineman. As a Junior he helped lead his team to the 1976 Rose Bowl championship. Eck began his career as a Center, eventually playing both Guard and Center.
Pro career
In 1976, he was selected in the second-round of the NFL Draft by the
Washington Redskins ; his 5-year career ended abruptly with a career ending heart attack (at the age of 24) on the way back to the New York Giants pre-season camp.Community Service
