The Province of Benevento ( _it. Provincia di Benevento) is a province in the Campania region of Italy. Its capital is the city of Benevento.

It has an area of 2,071 km², and a total population of 289,455 (2005). There are 78 "comuni" (singular: "comune") in the province [http://www.upinet.it/indicatore.asp?id_statistiche=6] , see Comuni of the Province of Benevento.

The territory of the province of Benevento closely approximates that of the Principality of Benevento in the mid and late eleventh century.
