- Styrian sour soup
Styrian sour soup ( _sl. Štajerska kisla juha) is a
sour soup that originates fromLower Styria . It is prepared at the feast of "koline" (pig slaughter ) from the pork pettitoes and parts of pork head and spiced withonion s,garlic ,marjoram ,thyme ,parsley ,black pepper , salt and apple or winevinegar . At the end of boil before being served,sour cream orsour milk is added to the soup.
