- Galen Schlosser
Galen Schlosser was a senior
architect with theLouis Kahn firm. Schlosser was the supervising architect for theSalk Institute for Biological Studies inLa Jolla, San Diego, California , theKimbell Art Museum inFort Worth, Texas , theEsherick House inChestnut Hill, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania , and three residences on Gypsy Lane in the East Falls section ofPhiladelphia . The first of these was built in1957 , and shows design elements later used in the Esherick House and the Salk Institute.Schlosser was a graduate of the
University of Pennsylvania and was called upon by them to organize theKahn Archives there after Louis Kahn's death.
