Jean-Pierre LaFouge is an Associate Professor of French at
Marquette University . He is the author and editor of several books and numerous articles, dealing with topics ofChristian spirituality , religious art, and Traditionalism.Biography
LaFouge was born in 1944 in
Champagne, France . He studied philosophy at Nancy and taught philosophy in several lycées in France and inMorocco from 1962-1976. His academic career took him to the United States where he obtained a Ph.D. inFrench literature in 1986 fromIndiana University , specializing in nineteenth and seventeen century French and Orientalist Literature.
