Cabinet of the Czech Republic

Cabinet of the Czech Republic is the supreme executive body in the Czech Republic. It's position is defined in the Constitution of the Czech Republic.

The Cabinet is constitued by a Prime minister, 14 ministers with a portfolio, deputy prime ministers and usually several ministers without portfolio. It's currently composed of members of Civic Democratic Party, Christian and Democratic Union - Czechoslovak People's Party and Green Party.

The 14 portfolios are: Agriculture; Culture; Defence; Education, Young and Sport; Environment; Finances; Foreign Affairs; Health; Industry and Trade; Interior; Justice; Labour and Social Affairs; Local Development; Transport. Between years 2003 and 2007 also Ministry of Informatics existed.
