Taranaki Dynamos

Devon Dynamos Taranaki are a basketball team that compete in the New Zealand National Basketball League. They have previously been known as the Taranaki Bears (1994-98), the Taranaki Oilers (1999) and the Taranaki Mountain Airs (2003-2007)

They play their home games at TSB Stadium in New Plymouth, New Zealand. Due to a lack of finance they did not compete in the NZ NBL from 2000-2002 . In 2003 they were readmitted to the league and took on the nickname "Mountain Airs", after a "name the team" competition was held to determine their new name. Fact|date=May 2008
