Mid-Jordan Line is a light rail line under construction in the mid-South Salt Lake Valley, Utah. Construction started May 15, 2008, and is expected to open in 2011. This line will branch off from the Sandy Line in Murray (Fashion Place West station), crossing into Midvale, West Jordan, and ending at the Daybreak Community in South Jordan, adding nine new TRAX stations. The estimated cost of this project is $452 million. It is expected to help with traffic issues in the rapidly growing southern end of Salt Lake County.
