Elmar Bob

Elmar Bob (born August 24, 1967), son of German aviator Hans Ekkehard Bob, is an international executive working for major corporations in France, Japan, Germany and the United States.

Until 2004, Matchnet (now Spark) was only traded on Germany's Frankfurt Stock Exchange. That year, Elmar Bob helped reincorporate the company in the United States and offer it's stock on the US NASDAQ National Market. In 2001, Elmar Bob, then Matchnet/Spark's head of German Operations, was quoted in the "International Herald Tribune" commenting on the fact that Bloomberg News had wrongly reported that MatchNet was being bought out and changing it's focus to biotechnology.
