28 September 1969 inTel Aviv ) is anIsraeli Film Academy Award winning actress. Levy attended and graduated theYoram Levinstein School of Acting in southernTel Aviv .Levy's early appearances include films such as
Hashiva (1995 ),Kesher Ir (Urban Feel) (1999 ) andHa'Boleshet Hokeret (The Investigation Must Go On) (2000 ), alongsideMoshe Ivgy . For the latter two she received anIsraeli Film Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She has also appeared in several television shows, includingCafe Paris andHa'Burganim .In
2004 she played the leading role inRaphael Nadjari 's filmAvanim , which was presented in theBerlin Film Festival as a Panorama: Special Presentation, and also won several awards acrossEurope , including Best Film at theCinema Tout Ecran in Geneva.Her best-known appearance was in
Aviva Ahuvati , a2006 film byShemi Zarhin , in which she played the leading role. The film became extremely popular inIsrael and earned Levy significantly wider recognition, as well as her thirdIsraeli Film Academy Award , this time for Best Actress.Levy is currently appearing on the
Israel i hit TV seriesBetipul , and preparing to release her first Rock and Roll music album.
