Piva, Montenegro

Piva (Пива) and Pivljani (Пивљани) is the names of the geographical region and Serb tribe of Old Herzegovina, situated in southwestern Montenegro, bordering Bosnia & Herzegovina. The Piva lake flows through the region. The Serbian president Boris Tadic is a descendant of the Piva clan. The Serbian Piva Monastery has been standing in Piva since the 16th century.

Exclusion of Serbian president Boris Tadić

Few days after the arrest of Radovan Karadžić ("Serbian hero and dear neighbour from Drobnjaci clan"), Pivljani decided to exclude President of Serbia Boris Tadić from the clan because "he permanently tarnished reputation of the clan".
