1957 -), ablues musician, was born inAtlanta, Georgia and spent his early years inFlorida . Inspired by his idol, B.B. King, he was determined to become a blues guitarist. In 1975 he returned to Atlanta and joined his first band. He graduated fromEmory University in 1979 with a degree in history.His peers include
