Skip Hall holds a number of world records in the world of mixed martial arts competition. At 57, Hall was the oldest pro-debuting fighter, and in 2008, at the age of 63, he became the oldest active fighter in the history of professional MMA.

Biography

Hall is a veteran of the war in Viet-Nam. He served with the U.S. Army Special Forces, and completed tours of duty in Korea, and the Philippines.

He was a professional body-builder, and also competed in wrestling and full-contact karate. Became interested in MMA in the late 1990s. Hall cross-trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and boxing.
