Shildon Railway cricket club

Shildon Railway Cricket Club play their league fixtures as part of the Durham County League and play their home fixtures at the BR Sportsfield and social club.

Shildon Cricket Club have quite a large squad with numerous different teams, such as, 1st team, 2nd, under 18s, 15s and 13s.

For the 2008 season, following the success of last seasons professional (Wilkin Motta), he was selected to feature in the IPL (Indian Premier League) as part of the King's 11 Punjab squad. He was replaced by Hemantha Boteju (Sri Lanka).
