Bruce Hopkins (surf lifesaver)

"Bruce "Hoppo" Hopkins" is a 38 year old lifesaver at Bondi Beach, Sydney. He is the longest serving lifeguard at Bondi, as he has been there for a term of 15 years. He has been surfing since the age of 6, and has completed a large amount of rescues, as well as resuscitation of people whose heart and breathing have stopped completely.

Bruce plays a major role in the hit television programme "Bondi Rescue", aired on the Ten Network in Australia. Bruce is vieved by all as the lifeguard with the most experience due to his long period of service, is regarded highly among both his collegues and many tourists that visit the beach.
