Judith Palfrey (born 1945) is the
T. Berry Brazelton Professor ofPediatrics atHarvard Medical School and the author of "Community Child Health: An Action Plan for Today" (1995) and "Child Health In America: Making A Difference Through Advocacy" (2006 ), and co-author of the "Disney Encyclopedia of Baby and Childcare" (1999). She is also Housemaster of Adams House along with her husbandSean Palfrey atHarvard University who is also a pediatrician in Boston.Dr. Palfrey is a 1967 graduate of
Radcliffe College and the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed an internship and residency in pediatrics atAlbert Einstein College of Medicine and a fellowship in community child health atChildren's Hospital Boston . She was chief of the Division of General Pediatrics atChildren's Hospital Boston for 25 years and has recently retired from that role to become director of the Children's International Pediatric Center at Children's Hospital, Boston. In 2008 she was named President-Elect of theAmerican Academy of Pediatrics for 2009-2010.One son is
John Palfrey , a professor of law atHarvard Law School . One son isQuentin Palfrey , assistant Attorney General for Health Care in Massachusetts. Her daughterKaty Palfrey is making movies in L.A..
