She spent four years anchoring at MSNBC, including a stint where she anchored two hours in the morning. Later, Robach began as co-host ofWeekend Today , withLester Holt in July of 2007. She worked at both places until she was named the Saturday co-host in June 2008 replacing the departedCampbell Brown . Since then, Robach has occasionally served as a substitute host on the weekday version of Today Show.Robach is also is a substitute anchor for the weekend editions of
Nightly News , a National Correspondent for 'Today' and 'Nightly News', and an occasional fill in forKeith Olbermann on "Countdown with Keith Olbermann " and forLester Holt on the Sunday Edition of Today. OnAugust 6 ,2008 , Robach filled in for Brian Williams on the theNBC Nightly News , as Williams was en route to Beijing for the2008 Summer Olympics .Robach graduated from the
University of Georgia with high honors in Broadcast Journalism. She lived half of her childhood in St. Louis, spent nine years in Georgia, and moved on toSouth Carolina ,Washington, D.C. , and the New York area. She was a competitive gymnast for 7 years as a child. She lives in Manhattan with her husband Tim and their two daughters.
