Battle of Bud Dajo

The Battle of Bud Dajo can refer to two different military actions, both of which occurred on the volcano Bud Dajo on the island of Jolo during Moro Rebellion phase of the Philippine-American War.

*The First Battle of Bud Dajo occurred in March 1906 and became known for a time as the Moro Crater massacre because of the eventual mass killing of Moro women and children
*The Second Battle of Bud Dajo occurred later in the rebellion, while the Philippines was under the administration of Brigadier General John J. Pershing, was a far smaller engagement
