Paul Marshall (born August 2, 1959) is a
financier andphilanthropist . He is co-founder and Chairman ofMarshall Wace LLP, one of Europe's largest hedge fund groups. Marshall Wace was founded in 1997 by Paul Marshall and Ian Wace ["Computer system gives fund a route to the top" The Times October 15, 2005 http://business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/business/article578554.ece] .
