This is the fourth time that the romance of Mrs. Leandro Dupret (also author of "Gina") was adapted as a soap opera. The first one was in 1958, for the Record Net; second it was in 1967, for the Tupi Net; and the third in 1977, again for the Tupi. This last version was rewritten by the SBT in 1994. * The chapters of We were Six were shown two times per night: once at 19h and again at 21h30. This was repeated for the television adaptations of the author's novels, "The Pupils of Mr. Reitor" and "Sangue of My Blood". * The actress Chica Lopes played the same character in the versions of 1977 and 1994: Durvalina, the employee of the family of Lola Owner. The actress Read of Aguiar also acted in the two versions, although in different roles: in 1977 she was a charity sister and in 1994 she was Marlene Owner, mother of Júlio. * With the excellent interpretation of Lola Owner, the actress Irene Ravache returned to the adaptations after a gap of six years (the previous one had been Sassaricando). * It is for the time being the only novel of the SBT to receive the Trophy the Press from better novel. * Resubmitted to 18h, of 22 of January the 22 of May 2001.
