Adebayo Olufemi Lateef was born on 31 December, 1972. A native of Ilorin in Kwara State, born in Lagos, Nigeria. He is one of Nigeria's hottest actors. He studied law at the University of Ilorin, but also trained in entertainment at the Awada Keri-Keri School of Performing Arts under the leadership of his father, Adebayo Salami (Oga Bello).

He is married with a daughter and is now the CEO of J-15 media network Nigeria. He is the current General Manager of Ibrafunds Holding, a company that deals with petroleum marketing, merchandising and consultancy. He has produced a Yoruba movie entitled "IDANWO" in 2006 and he won the "THE MOVIE AWARDS" as the "BEST UPCOMING ACTOR OF THE YEAR 1996" in Nigeria. He has participated in films, such as Owoblow, Oba-Elesan, Tojo - terun, Baba - Ologba, Idanwo, Shola fe Pami, Ikan, Aranbada, Agbara Obirin, Mayomi, Ole, Inu, Orija ju Ogun, Ogologo, Fitila, Ile, and others.

He is a biological son of Adebayo Salami (popularly known as oga Bello), an immediate past president of the Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners (ANTP). Adebayo Femi has three other siblings in Nollywood.
