Sig Jakucki

Sigmund Jakucki (August 20, 1909 in Camden, New Jersey - May 28, 1979 in Galveston, Texas), was a professional baseball player who played pitcher in the Major Leagues from 1936-1945. He played for the St. Louis Browns.His name, misspelled "Jackucki," appears in the sheet music for Dave Frishberg's song Van Lingle Mungo.
