The Batsquatch is purported to have purple-coloured skin,
blood -red eyes, wings like those of aPterodactyl , and a head which resembles a cross between aprimate and abat . The creature's name is based onSasquatch , although the two cryptids have never been directly linked to each other.Controversy
Alongside the "winged primate" theory, an accepted theory is that these creatures are a new species of
fruit bat ; despite reports depicting the animal ascarnivorous , and assumed to be at fault for the disappearance of many farm animals in the region.A
mountaineer named Butch Whittaker reportedly sighted one of these creatures while he was getting ready to climb Mt. St. Helens, in 1994, and took several pictures of the creature before it disappeared. The photographs, while possibly presenting strong evidence of the creature's existence, have been the subject of much controversy, with many claiming that they are hoaxes.ources
