Yazgulem Range

Yazgulem Range ( _ru. Язгулемский хребет) in Tajikistan's Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Province stretches for about 170 km between the rivers Yazgulem and Bartang in Western Pamir. It rises in the north-eastern direction from the border with Afghanistan toward its highest elevation at Independence Peak (6,974 m). Average elevations 4,500-6,000 m. Glaciers covering about 630 km2 at the crest.
