Taunia Soderquist

Taunia Soderquist (b. February 18, 1972 in Woburn, Massachusetts) is a jazz singer based in the Massachusetts/New England area. Soderquist has shared the stage with various noted performers such as Wayne Brady, The Persuasions, The Bobs, Sean Altman, and Vance Gilbert. She is also the featured vocalist on the PC game Titan Quest. [1]

Soderquist has performed as a solo jazz vocalist and also with her vocal bands All About Buford and Vote For Pedro. Her song "Tall, Dark and Handsome" won the "2007 CARA Best Humor Song" award. [2] Christopher Muther from the Boston Globe said, “The harmonies created by .. Soderquist melt in my ears." [3] In addition to her performance career, she is a vocal coach, with students like Timmy Mitchum [4] performing in the lead role of "Simba" with the touring company for The Lion King.
