- Grafton & Upton 1001
The Grafton & Upton 1001, is an ALCO S4, built in June 1952 [1] . The Grafton & Upton has used it for the past 30-40 years. In May of 2008 it was scrapped, having sat dormant in the Hopedale Engine House for 15 years. It was suffering from problems with its wheels.
