Mullah Kabir

Mullah Kabir

The former Deputy Prime Minister of the Taliban in Afghanistan, Mullah Kabir later commanded insurgent forces in resisting the 2001 Invasion of Afghanistan in Nangarhar.[1]

In April 2002 Abdul Razzak told the Associated Press Kabir was believed to have fled Nangarhar to Paktia, along with Ahmed Khadr[2]

Kabir was captured in Pakistan in February 2010 due to intelligence gleaned from Mullah Baradar, himself recently taken into custody.[3]
