"The Last of the Mohicans" was a 1971 BBC series, base on James Fenimore Cooper's novel "The Last of the Mohicans".
It was shown on the Sunday tea-time slot on BBC1, which at that time often put on adaptations of classic novels.
It was particularly memorable for the performance in the part of Magua by Philip Madoc, an experienced Welsh TV actor who often played villains.
