Alan Devine

Alan Devine is an Irish actor who has played minor roles in several films. Devine graduated with honours from Trinity College, Dublin, where he studied philosophy and sociology. He has since pursued a career of acting in both film and on the stage.

Devine has been a member of the Stanislavski Studio in Dublin's Focus Theatre since 1992. There his credits include numerous stage roles, including various works of Shakespeare, notably the lead in "Hamlet". His film roles include portraying the Irish criminal Gerry “The Monk” Hutch in the movie "Veronica Guerin". He has received credit for work in several other films including, "King Arthur" and "Nora".

He is currently filming the Irish movie "Ghostwood" in which he plays the lead role.

Alan also appeared in TV ad's for Guinness. Most recently, he played the part of Tom Crean, the famous Arctic explorer from County Kerry.
