variants with their own articles=The IPE Quero Quero (named for a South American bird) was a sailplane produced in Brazil in the 1970s. It was a conventional, single seat design of wooden construction. Its high-set wing featured downturned wingtips that functioned as endplates. The undercarriage was a fixed monowheel, and construction was of wood throughout.

The original KW 1 Quero Quero was flown in 1972, and after a series of modifications and refinements, achieved Brazilian certification in December 1976. This certificated version was put into production as the KW 1 b 2 Quero Quero II and an initial batch of 20 was completed over the next three years and supplied to Brazilian flying clubs.
