Mehraj Ahmed

Mehraj Ahmed (born January 5, 1989) is an English cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler who played for Worcestershire until his release at the end of the 2009 season. He was born in Birmingham.

Ahmed, who had represented Worcestershire's Second XI since 2006, made his List A debut in the Friends Provident Trophy in May 2008, and made his first-class debut against Loughborough UCCE in the same week.

He played in the Birmingham District Premier Cricket League for many years. He had previously played for Barnt Green CC for 4 years (2005-2009), He then moved to Walsall CC (2010), But is currently playing in the Birmingham Premier League with Attock CC (2011).

In 2011 he also played one game for Derbyshire Second XI. He scored 348 runs in league games for Attock CC in 2011 but excelled as a T20 opening batsman helping Attock CC reach the semi finals of the BDPCL cup.
