Islampura

Islampura is in the city of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Islampura has a large Shia Muslim population and one of the largest Shia Mosques of Pakistan. The locality is close to the historic Anarkali bazaar, the Lahore Museum and various other sites of interest.

Islampura was previously known as Krishan Nagar.

Islampura has been and is residence of many famous personalities like Yousaf Khan (Actor), Shoukat Ali (Singer), Chamkeela (Comedian), Imran Khan (TV Star) etc.

Important places in Islampura are Neelibar, Umar Road, Haider Road, Abubakar Road, Nori Building, Siraj Building, Abdali Chowk, Aakhri Bus Stop, Baba Ground etc.
