Skylight Pictures is an independent documentary film company based in New York City that has been making films for over 25 years. Five of their films ("Poverty Outlaw", "Teen Dreams", "Takeover", "Teatro!" and "When The Mountains Tremble") were nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival, and "When The Mountains Tremble" won the award in 1984. Their film, "", won the 2006 Overseas Press Club Award for "Best Reporting in Any Medium on Latin America".
