Robin Thede is an actress, writer, sketch/improvisational comedian, host and radio personality.
After earning a degree in Broadcast Journalism from
Northwestern University , Robin studied comedy at Second City in Chicago. She performed with several improvisational and sketch comedy groups, including "Words" and "Quagmire." After moving to Los Angeles, she has appeared on several TV shows, including "Worst Week" for CBS, "All of Us" (UPN/CW) and "Frank TV" (TBS). She was cast a series regular on "Socially Offensive Behavior" on BET and worked with George Wendt and Ted Danson on the A & E sketch comedy special "A Guy Walks Into A Bar." She also appeared regularly on the Internet sketch show "The Message" after working with the sketch comedy group "Cleo's Apartment." In addition to several live sketch comedy shows, Robin has also written for TV, including for the 2007 and 2008 BET Awards, and a sketch comedy TV series for comedian Mike Epps.Robin is a TV host and entertainment reporter as well, appearing as a regular correspondent on
