Ruslan Myrsatayev

Ruslan Myrsatayev (b.May 07, 1985) is a Kazakh boxer best known to qualify in the Super Heavyweight division(+91 kg) at the 2008 Summer Olympics.

Kazakhstan sent neither decorated veteran Mukhtarkhan Dildabekov nor big-punching Rustam Rygebaev who had competed at the 2007 World Championships to the second qualifer but Myrsatayev who won the competition and made it to Beijing.

The 207lbs fighter quickly KOd Australian Daniel Beahan but was knocked down and outpointed by Chinese southpaw giant Zhang Zhilei.
