Pielaveden Sampo is Finnish volleyball team, located in Pielavesi. Sampo is one of the best teams in Finland volleyball league. Finland champion team has win two time, year 2004 and 2005. Silver team has got years 2001, 2007, 2008 and bronze medal years 2002 and 2003. In Sampo's has played many famous players like Olli Kunnari, and Urpo Sivula. Tuomas Sammelvuo is one of the Sampo's owners.

History

Sampo's first season in Finland Champion league was season 1998-1999. Second season in highest level in Finland Sampo become silver medal. Then Sampo get two season bronze medals. Season 2004 Sampo win his history first time Finland Champion. After that Sampo win again champion on nest season. Season 2006 was to Sampo very bad. They don't win nothing. After that season Sampo win Finland Cup Champion and Finland league silver medal. Too in same season team come eight best teams in Europe league. Season 2008 Sampo repeat last season achievements.
