Jaime Jarra Bio

Jaime Jara born in (North Highlands, California) is an American mixed martial artist. He has described his fighting style, as wrestler who can also deliver a knockout blow. Despite a great MMA record Jaime has not fought in the UFC. Jaime Jara is the only MMA fighter in its history to hold 4 belts at the same time.

Jaimes Early years

Jaime started wrestling in high school. His senior year he went 56-1 placing 2nd in the California state championship. After high school he briefly attended Sierra college. At the age of 22 he began studying martial arts. Shortly after receiving his black belt, he took over his own school and began teaching. At the age of 33 he began training to compete in MMA events. A few months later he found himself fighting in the cage. Jaime was recently awarded Tyson Johnson's Gladiator Challenge 2005 Fighter of the Year Award. He has become the first fighter in MMA history to own titles in four different weight classes Gladiator Challenge Heavyweight Title, Gladiator Challenge Light Heavyweight Title, Gladiator Challenge Middleweight Title, and Gladiator Challenge Welterweight Title.
