Baba Guru Nanak University is a planned international university that will be located in Nankana Sahib, Pakistan for Sikh and Muslim people.

Name

The "World Muslim Sikh Federation" (WMSF) proposes that the name of the University should be one of the following three:

1)Guru Nanak International University or 2)Baba Nanak International University or 3)Nanak International University. A short name of this university would be "Nanak University" which will be located at Nankana SahibCity, Punjab, Pakistan.But i like this name better that "Baba Nanak International University" & I hope that the Administration of the University will Develop the official website of the University as: www.bniu.edu.pk

Mission statement

The Mission Statement is To provide a modern University in Pakistan of prestige and academic excellence which will be regarded as the Oxford and Cambridge Universities of South Asia. The University will allow to get Admissions for the Students of all over the world, Specially for Muslim peoples of Pakistan and Sikh Brothers. Therefore the university is named as an "International University".
