Stefan Chaput (born March 11, 1988 in Ile Bizard, Quebec) is a Canadian hockey player, currently practicing for the Carolina Hurricanes of the NHLand plays with the Albany River Rats (2008-2009) www.albanyriverrats.com . He was drafted in 2006. He plays center, and shoots left. He played his junior hockey in the QMJHL for the Lewiston Maineiacs, Lewiston Maine USAhis younger brother Michael now wears number 26 for the Maineiacs is in his first year.Micheal was drafted in the first round 9th overall in this 2008 LHJMQ entry draft.
