The authors attempt to critically examine Gandhi's claim about 1893 incident when he was allegedly thrown out of the train in South Africa on racial grounds. In their scrutiny of the incident and Gandhi's statements thereafter, the author's claim that Gandhi himself gave divergent accounts of the incident.
