Carrenleufú River

Carrenleufú River is a river shared by Argentina and Chile. Drains the waters of the Palena/Vintter Lake, also shared by this nations.

This river have a regular glacial regime and rapid white waters, ideal for hydroelectric power plants. There are several numbers of projects at both sides of the border to use this power.

Its average inflow is 94 m3/sec.
