QUICC

QUICC

QUICC is the abbreviation of QUad Integrated Communications Controller. The original QUICC was the 68k-based Motorola 68360. It was followed by the PowerPC-based PowerQUICC, PowerQUICC II, and PowerQUICC III. It has many types of interfaces built into the device and was very popular with telecommunication system manufacturers, although it is used outside the industry as well.
