Wollun is a small rural community situated about 26 kilometres north west of Walcha and is included in the Uralla Shire Council Local Government Area of the Northern Tablelands region of New South Wales, Australia. Wollun was linked by rail to Sydney in 1882 as part of the Main North Line and on 20 February 1975 the link closed with access only possible at Uralla or Walcha Road. [cite web

The settlement currently comprises several houses and a church. The principal local industry is sheep and beef cattle breeding. Every two years some local Merino studs display their sheep at the New England Merino Field Days. [cite web
