- Ryan Khatam
Ryan Khatam is an American born animator and director. His biggest influences appear to be early
John Kricfalusi andSpumco , but also credits his other inspirations asChuck Jones ,Tex Avery ,Bob Clampett , as well as others.History
Ryan began
animating very early, at the age of 14, in the year 1998. His first animation was very crude using a basicstick figure . He studied animation at Rancho Bernardo High School, Palomar College, Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art, and most recently The Animation Academy. As his animations continued his drawing capabilities improved, and created better, more fluid animation. His first "freelance job" was to animate deaths for the sequel to Gorillas. The second time, he was contacted byConspiracy Games to create a sequel to his own Johnny Rocketfingers. In 2006Nickelodeon asked Ryan as well as friend and fellowartist David Gemmill, to create Gecko and Sticky, an animation forShredderman Rules . Ryan is currently creating a pilot for his childhood character, [http://www.crackedanimations.com/uccomics.htm Up-Chuk-Duck]Ryan's entire

Ryan's Style is very distinct. He is most well know for his
stick figure animations. Most of the time he usesMacromedia Flash to animate, but has used other products such as painter. Most of his "non-stick" animations have been compared toRen and Stimpy , in both style and humor. Even though he enjoys the artwork ofJohn K he does not like him very much on a personal basis. Ryan's style is also much more fluid, and cartoony than most other flash animations.References
