As a teenager, Marcus Collins lived in the smalltown of Seymour, Iowa. During his childhood he enjoyed soccer, acting, singing in school plays and working in family businesses.
He has appeared in numerous plays, television shows, films, and musicals including P.S. I Love You, Delirious, One Life to Live, It's Karate Kid: The Musical and The Karaoke Show. Marcus also served as the face of Edward Carnby in the Eden Games/Atari video game Alone in the Dark: Near Death Investigation.
Marcus started his acting career with an appearance on MTV's Total Request Live in 2001. He then went on to perform many regional plays, musicals, and off-Broadway such as Altar Boyz and Forever Plaid.
He recently became a member of a new vocal group called The Texas Tenors, made up of a talented trio of singers. They auditioned for America's Got Talent's fourth season and made it to the finals.
Marcus has one sibling, an older sister. He now splits his time between Houston and Sun Valley.
