COBRALUSH is an electro-alternative rock band from Fort Worth Texas, comprised of Puerto Rican singer Zayra Alvarez and longtime friends Dave Jarmes and Daniel Harville. While each band member contributed different elements of the music, a majority of it was created digitally. Zayra Alvarez began her singing career long before joining COBRALUSH. She released her debut solo album "Ruleta" on Sony International in 2004 and developed a fan base in Puerto Rico. She also placed in the top seven on the series "".

Before starting this project, Dave Karnes played jazz alongside Zac Maloy, Colin Herring, and John Price throughout North Texas. Pretty Baby began working on their debut EP in early 2007. Before changing their name.
